I hope that you had a safe 2010 so far, and that all those close to you are in good health and spirit. I wanted to send out some golf outing info for you because you and your company were a sponsor last year for the Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association's 1 st annual golf outing.
Our first ever golf outing last year was a fantastic success, largely due to your sponsorship with our outing. I am asking you to commit to sponsoring again this year to our outing as I feel this year will be better then last with more golfers, more sponsors, and more importantly developing comradery amongst your fellow peers in the livery industry. The golf outing is taking place in early August this year as we had some conflicts with BUSCON and other industry events last year that caused potential golfers from not being able to attend. Last year we had 85 golfers that represented companies in the livery industry from 7 different states. We know that we will have more golfers this year as well as participants that came for the awards dinner after the event. Last years event took place at a time when economic times were tough on us all, and with help from sponsors like you, we were able to make it a great success.
For those that were in attendance last year, there were great prizes issued for winning foursomes as well as the “sweet” side purse for the livery cup which was a nice additional prize for those that entered it.
Please review the attached sponsorship form for this years outing. As you review it, you will see many of the sponsorship rates have been lowered. They were lowered so we can give all our sponsors a better chance to gain the most out of their sponsorship commitment with our outing. We already have verbal commitments from many sponsor from last year that they would like to sponsor again, so if you intend to sponsor, please contact me so I can hold the specific sponsorship level you would like to have.
Our golf committee will be reaching out to you as well in the next few weeks to see what you can offer to the PRLA as we try to make the 2 nd Annual Golf Outing a greater success then the first.
